an update

A warm hello to all of my readers.

I wanted to just send out a quick update to you all. I apologize, but this week I am not able to post anything with Trapped Within Darkness or Expedition Epsilon.

Some of you may or may not know that I run another publication here on Substack called Macabre Monday. It started as nothing more than a fun celebration of horror here on the social media side of Substack (notes), but grew rather quickly into a large community of passionate writers and horror enthusiasts.

Last Monday saw the first month of this project come to an end, with the conclusion of a writing contest that I host over there. I was met with some glaring issues that needed to be addressed along with other issues that I have needed to remedy. It has taken so much of my time that I haven’t been able to get to writing anything for these stories that I am so passionate about bringing to you.

I didn’t want to let this week go by without letting you all know what is going on, as I aim to be as transparent as possible. My goal is to have everything running smoothly again by next week, so that I can return to my normal posting schedule here on Choose Fiction.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for choosing to subscribe to the stories I am writing and being patient with my struggles. It means the world to a writer that is trying to make something of themself.
